The Franklin Wellness Center recently completed a major lighting replacement project.  Fluorescent tubes and fixtures throughout the facility were replaced with LED lighting for more energy efficiency and reduction of electrical expense.  Lights around the lap pool area were also replaced.

The total cost of the project was $17,686.    The project was made possible with a grant from the Franklin County Community Foundation (FCCF) and a rebate by MidAmerican Energy.

In addition to the lighting, a part of the FCCF grant also helped replace elevation motors in two treadmills.
