Sunday, Sept. 4 AND Monday, Sept. 5 -- Facility, including pools: CLOSED
Over 50 & Fit Class -- 6 week session starting August 15. M-W-F, 8-9 a.m. Low/no impact aerobic class. Class is designed for those over 50, but anyone is welcome
Senior Water Aerobics -- 6 week session starting August 15. M-W-F, 9-10 a.m.
Evening Water Aerobics -- 6 week session starting September 7. 5:15-6:15 p.m., M-W (may also have Tuesdays)
Kickboxing -- 4 week session starting September 7, 5:30-6:20 p.m., Wednesdays
Flag Football for 3rd and 4th grade boys and girls. Saturday, Sept. 17 & 24, Sunday, Sept. 18 & 25, and Monday, Sept. 26. Have fun learning the fundamentals and playing flag football. Sign-up and pay at Franklin Wellness Center front desk.
Pick-up Basketball games -- Sundays 2-4 p.m. and Wednesdays 6-8 p.m. -- members free, non-members $3.00 each
Pickleball league -- Mondays 6-8 p.m. and Fridays 5:30-7:30 p.m. -- members free, non-members $2.00 each
Summerfest tennis tournament at Progress Park tennis courts, Saturday, August 27, 10:00 a.m. start

The Franklin Wellness Center now has a nationally
certified personal trainer on staff:
Corey Ahrens, a 1994 graduate of Hampton-Dumont High School, has over 20 years of experience as a personal trainer and fitness coach. Corey recently moved back to Hampton and is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Council of Strength and Fitness (NCSF).
Corey is excited to be back in town. His passion is helping people enjoy a happier, healthier lifestyle. He especially enjoys working with seniors who suffer from hypertension or diabetes. Corey works with people of all ages including student athletes looking to improve performance or adults looking to lose weight, for example.
Corey is offering a free one-hour consultation to anyone interested in improving their health. The consultation includes a review of an individual's health history and discussion of specific health goals. Call Franklin Wellness Center at 641-456-2827 and ask for Corey to make an appointment.
