We all have been effected by this ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.  Everyone has an opinion whether to be open or not.  If you have underlying health concerns or are uncomfortable coming back to the Franklin Wellness Center then DO NOT come back at this time.

We want all those who do come to the FWC to feel welcomed and safe. To do so, we will be increasing our sanitation practices and ensure our staff is healthy.

The entire wellness center has been thoroughly cleaned and floors vacuumed/scrubbed/carpet shampooed.  Equipment has been moved and rearranged.
New signage was made and posted.  Floors measured and marked for physical distancing.

If you choose to visit FWC, we expect you to do your part.  Please follow our physical distancing rules and abide by our policies.  Please cooperate with our staff as they will be taking your temperature and asking you questions.   You will also be asked to review your contract and update membership information, particularly your email address.

*Social/physical distancing guidelines are in effect.

*Equipment and machines will need to be disinfected before and after use.

*Masks are not required, but highly recommended.

We closed March 16 and re-opening  May 15,...we will add two months to each membership.  (If a person is uncomfortable coming back now, we will extend it to when you return.)

We also ask that you keep a positive attitude and refrain from negative or disrespectful talk, comments on social media or to others you may not agree with.

Please be flexible.   As state requirements might change regarding the pandemic, our policies and requirements will need to be updated.

If you have a locker, we ask you to remove all items.  We will be disinfecting lockers and leaving them empty for the time being.  You can use a locker when you work out, but we ask you take everything with you when finished.

FWC will be open to MEMBERS ONLY  Must be 16 years or older, or accompanied by and with a guardian entire time at FWC (all must be members).

Check in procedure:
Franklin General Hospital’s model for checking employees and consumers to be used.
The questions each person will be asked are:
1.  Have you had any cough or shortness of breath different from usual?
2.  Any two of the following?  Fever above 100.0, muscle pain, headache, chills, repeated shaking with chills, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, or new loss of taste or smell.
Temperature will then be taken.
If the temp is 100 degrees or more or answer "yes" to the above questions, you will not be admitted and it will be recommended you contact their health care provider of the possibility of being a COVID-19 patient.
If temp is under 100 and answered no to questions, you will scan your member bar code card or be checked in on the front desk computer.   If you have not yet received a card, one will be given to you.

If you have any questions, please let me know.  Thank you, and welcome back!!
